The AK1010 measures oxidation-reduction potential (ORP / redox) in millivolts, indicating the oxidising or reducing capacity of a solution — useful for disinfection control, water treatment and process monitoring. The rugged plastic body withstands routine field and laboratory handling.
It connects through a BNC plug on a 1 metre cable and can be used with AKSO meters that accept an ORP electrode, such as the AK130 bench meter.
