AK46 Iron Tester measures this element that naturally exists in rivers, lakes and underground water.
It can also be released into water from sources such as industrial waste and corrosion of iron pipes.
Iron can be present in water in two forms: the soluble ferrous iron (Fe2+) or the insoluble ferric iron (Fe3+).
Iron is usually present in water in low concentrations and can affect the taste.
Iron is also an indicator of corrosion and is monitored in industrial plants and in water cooling and heating systems.
