The AK1001 is a combined pH and temperature electrode for general-purpose measurements in water and wastewater treatment, education and routine laboratory work. The glass sensing bulb delivers stable, repeatable pH readings, while the integrated temperature sensor lets compatible meters apply automatic temperature compensation.
It connects through a BNC/RCA plug on a 1 meter cable and is compatible with AKSO portable and benchtop pH meters.

Regular cleaning ensures measurement accuracy and extends electrode life. Follow this procedure periodically.
Prepare a small beaker with electrode cleaning solution (pepsin)
Leave the electrode tip immersed in the solution for 30 minutes
Rinse the electrode in distilled water
Remove excess water using a soft paper towel
Store the electrode in KCl 3M potassium chloride solution for 1 hour
Your tester is now ready for calibration — always use fresh calibration solutions
