Overview

The AK131 Max is the ideal choice for laboratories that require a robust, high-performance instrument with features that ensure accuracy, traceability, and reliable results.

The instrument has GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) functions, which allow you to set the validity of the last adjustment made, check which standards were used, monitor the results obtained, and consult the slope of the pH electrode.

Maintaining your pH electrode

Regular cleaning ensures measurement accuracy and extends electrode life. Follow this procedure periodically.

Prepare a small beaker with electrode cleaning solution (pepsin)

Leave the electrode tip immersed in the solution for 30 minutes

Rinse the electrode in distilled water
4
Remove excess water using a soft paper towel
5
Store the electrode in KCl 3M potassium chloride solution for 1 hour

Your tester is now ready for calibration — always use fresh calibration solutions
