Max - Bench pH/ORP/Temperature Meter
Benchtop pH, ORP and temperature meter with 3-point automatic calibration and an extended -2.00 to 16.00 pH range for laboratory use.
The AK130 Max was developed for pH measurement in liquid samples across quality control, solution preparation, water and wastewater treatment, environmental testing, education, and industrial laboratories.
Its large backlit display shows pH and temperature at the same time, making it easier to follow reading stability and review results during routines with multiple samples.

The AK130 comes with the AK1004-S pH electrode, featuring a glass body, a double ceramic Teflon junction, and an integrated temperature sensor. It is suitable for clean aqueous solutions commonly tested in chemical, environmental, and quality control laboratories.
The refillable design allows the reference solution to be replaced when necessary. This supports proper electrode care and helps maintain its response throughout regular use.
The electrode slope indicator helps users evaluate electrode sensitivity during calibration. Instead of only confirming that calibration is complete, the AK130 provides information that helps show whether the electrode is responding as expected.
Changes in slope may indicate that the electrode needs cleaning, hydration, reference solution replacement, or eventual replacement. This allows the laboratory to identify changes in performance before beginning a series of measurements.
This reduces the risk of completing several analyses with an electrode that is no longer responding properly.
The AK130 supports automatic calibration with USA or NIST standards in acidic, neutral, and alkaline ranges. Users can select calibration points close to the expected sample range, making the adjustment more suitable for each testing routine.
Calibration at several points, combined with the electrode slope indicator, provides more information for checking the complete measuring system before analysis begins.
Electrode response changes with sample temperature. The AK130 offers automatic compensation through the integrated temperature sensor, as well as manual adjustment from 0 to 80 °C.
This allows users to test samples at different temperatures without making separate calculations and helps maintain the same procedure throughout the routine.
The internal memory allows users to manually store up to 100 results. The operator chooses which measurements should be saved, avoiding the storage of tests, intermediate readings, or values that have not yet stabilized.
This is useful for following sample sequences, comparing results during solution preparation, and temporarily keeping selected data before transferring it to laboratory records.
The backlit display shows pH and temperature together, allowing users to view the main result and sample temperature without changing screens.
The stability indicator shows when the reading is ready to be recorded. The HOLD function keeps the result on the display so it can be reviewed, written down, or saved to memory.
These features help different users follow the same measurement procedure throughout the laboratory routine.
With the optional AK1010 electrode, sold separately, the AK130 can also measure oxidation reduction potential. This expands its use in water treatment, wastewater control, and processes where oxidizing or reducing conditions need to be monitored.
The laboratory can adapt the meter to different analyses by changing the electrode, without purchasing a separate instrument.
The AK130 comes with the AK1004S pH electrode, AK1070 electrode holder, power adapter, pH 4, 7, and 10 calibration solutions, and KCl solution for electrode storage.
The main items required for installation, calibration, measurement, and electrode care are already included.
With an electrode slope indicator, calibration at up to three points, memory for 100 manual records, and practical controls for following reading stability, the AK130 Max gives laboratories greater control over each stage of pH measurement.
The result is a more consistent testing routine, with useful information for checking electrode condition, selecting relevant results, and identifying changes before they affect a full series of measurements.
Benchtop, precise, accurate measurements.
The built-in microprocessor enables advanced functions, such as automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation, self-diagnosis, auto power-off, and low-battery indicator, and improves the response time and accuracy of your measurements.
The MAX Bench pH meters feature a large LCD display that provides simultaneous pH and temperature readings with a pH resolution of 0.01 and an accuracy of ±0.01 pH. pH electrode with integrated temperature sensor. 3 points pH automatic calibration and extended range (-2.00 to 16.00 pH) the MAX portable meters have the pH electrode slope indication.
The various types of AKSO pH/Temperature electrodes, makes the MAX benchtop meters versatile and can be used in many different Laboratory applications: from general use in Water and waste water treatment; to food industry for measurements of semi-solid samples such as milk, juices, jams, soil, shampoo and creams; and solid samples such as meat and cheese.
For ORP measurements an optional ORP electrode (AK1010) needs be used.
